Climate Action Food Equity
Starts With Us
We transform food surplus into equitable health and a thriving planet.
With grassroots collaboration, we forge a path towards more efficient food resource management, enhance access to wholesome food choices, and divert surplus away from landfills to ensure it gets into the hands of those in need. Currently, we can only reclaim about 15% of surplus food in Summit County. We strive to get 50% within 5 years. There’s so much more we can do. Find out how you can help.
Colorado Gives Day 2025 is on Tuesday, December 9, but you can give any time up until then! Colorado Gives Day is the biggest 24-hour giving movement in the state and one of the most successful giving days in the nation.
You can make your donation now by going to our page on the Colorado Gives Day website.
Every dollar helps CAFE Food Rescue collect surplus food from businesses right here in Summit County and make it available to those in need. Thank you for your donation!
