CAFE Food Rescue’s purpose in Summit County is twofold: Increasing access to fresh nutritious food for food-insecure residents while decreasing greenhouse gas emissions caused by food production and food waste. By partnering with food donors (event centers, restaurants and grocery stores) unused, nutritious food is collected and then distributed to members of the community facing difficult decisions on how to pay for food and other basic necessities. In 2022, CAFE Food Rescue distributed 32,000+ pounds of food and is on a mission to fill 1⁄2 of the food insecurity needs in Summit County by 2027.

Here's how the day will go:

• 10 a.m. 9 holes of golf at Raven Golf Club

• 12:30 p.m. lunch + a shuttle to Elevation Bowl

• 1:00 p.m. 3 games of bowling + a shuttle ride back

• 4:30 p.m. awards + dinner at Raven Golf Club
