Become a Volunteer with CAFE Food Rescue!

We’re thrilled you want to join us in making a difference by volunteering with CAFE Food Rescue! Before you can start volunteering, there are a few important steps to complete to ensure you’re fully prepared and all necessary documentation is in place.

Steps to Get Started:

• Fill out the Volunteer Interest Form: This form will help us get to know you better and understand your availability.

• Complete Required Documentation: We'll send you a DocuSign link to complete the following:

  • Volunteer Agreement/Liability Release

  • Media Release

  • Illness Reporting Agreement

• Choose Your Shift: Use the Signup Genius link (sent via email) to select your preferred shift. Please reply to the email with your chosen shift.

• Orientation (if applicable):

  • Food Runs: We'll join you on your first run to provide guidance, answer questions, and ensure you're comfortable with the process.

  • Food Packing: Before your first packing shift, you'll need to complete a 30-minute online food handlers certification course. We'll provide the link.
